Treatment of personal data
According to the Lg. 196/2003 on “Protection of the person and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data“, known as “Privacy Law“, and the subsequent Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 We inform you that your data will be processed in the exclusive context of the activity carried out by this site. These data will not be transferred to third parties nor used for sending unwanted advertising messages.
The data controller is Barbara Stein Italia s.r.l. with headquarters in via Caduti sul Lavoro, 18 – 57023 Cecina (LI).
Always pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 and art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, containing provisions to protect people and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data, we wish to inform you that Barbara Stein Italia Srl processes personal data of customers, suppliers, collaborators and also of subjects who have voluntarily communicated directly , by telephone, fax or e-mail, their personal data to our offices, in accordance with the aforementioned legislation and the confidentiality obligations to which the undersigned Company is required.
The customer has the right to unsubscribe from our customer archive at any time by simply sending an email to info@barbarastein.it, specifying as subject: “I wish to be deleted from your customer archive”.
Security of data transactions
The purchase and transmission system of orders and personal data is managed on secure servers with the use of the SSL protocol, which will guarantee the confidentiality of the transactions carried out.
Cookies
Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, and so-called persistent cookies of any kind, or systems for tracking users are not used.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow safe and efficient site. I c.d. session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that are potentially detrimental to the confidentiality of user navigation and do not allow the acquisition of the user’s personal identification data.
Shipping fees
Free delivery for all orders from at least € 75 VAT included.
Shipping costs within Italy
This section concerns shipments made in Italy (including islands), the Republic of San Marino and Vatican City.
Customer’s contribution to the transport costs is € 5.00 (VAT included) except for the furnishings which, having a larger weight / volume, will have a specific estimation.
This cost will be highlighted in the order summary before the order is confirmed by the customer.
This allows a complete decision-making control of the user both on the article (or articles) ordered and on the related shipping costs.
Orders are delivered by different couriers and it is not possible to select at the time of the order which courier will be in charge of delivery.
This information will however be communicated to you by our operators during the telephone verification of the order which is normally carried out by us in the 24 hours following its electronic reception by contacting you at the telephone number indicated by you in the order itself.
International shipping costs and methods
There are no automatic calculation criteria for shipping costs abroad. For these shipments we reserve the right to quantify and communicate the relative cost after receipt of the order based on the destination, weight and size of the item (or items). Any customs charges, at your total expense, will also be invoiced together with the goods purchased. All the various expense items highlighted above will be defined and communicated before shipment. This allows your complete decision-making control over the purchase, allowing you to cancel it before shipping if you deem it appropriate.
Delivery time
In the telephone verification of the purchase, which our operators carry out in the manner indicated above (see: shipping costs in Italy), we indicate a forecast of the shipping date and delivery date, based on the availability of the items.
The delivery date is calculated based on the transport times from our warehouses taking into account all the information we have.
If your order contains more than one item, it will be shipped only when all the items are available unless your different decision that you can communicate to us during the telephone verification of the order.
Right of withdrawal
If the customer is not satisfied with the purchase made, he will have the right (DL 206/2005) to withdraw in writing from the contract (fax, e-mail) without specifying the reason, within the term of 14 days, starting from the day of receipt of the goods. The goods must be sent back to our office by courier. Shipping costs are charged to the customer if the products delivered correspond to those ordered.
We undertake to make the refund by bank transfer within 30 days of receipt of the goods subject to withdrawal. In the event that the products delivered do not match those ordered, we will return the correct product within 5 working days of the customer’s communication (subject to availability of the product) and eventually organize the collection of the incorrect goods at the courier’s own expense shipping address as it appears in the Customer’s order.
The Customer is obliged to make the goods available at the shipping address included in the order subject to withdrawal, in its original packaging duly sealed, by agreeing on the day of collection. Any problems that prevent us from agreeing on the date and place of collection of the goods, allow us not to respect the commitment to return or refund the goods in the times indicated above, commitments that will be honored as soon as it is possible to view the goods subject to withdrawal. The quickest and safest way to communicate the intention of withdrawal is by phone, email, contact form or, if available, in the Returns Area, specifying the order number to which the withdrawal refers. The right of withdrawal cannot be applied to customized products, if they correspond to those ordered.
